Cook County Crime Stoppers has put up a $1,000 reward for information about the death of Lacey Gaines, a 20-year-old Justice mother.
Lacey Gaines had been stabbed and strangled at 7:10 p.m. Dec 7 in her apartment in the first block of Hickory Trace Drive, Justice Police Department said.
Detectives continue investigating the case and said in a release Gaines may have known her attacker.
