Many Condolences for the loss of Lacey

I just read that your niece was killed so senselessly. Please accept our sincere condolences and our prayers on behalf of your whole extended family. Violence touches so close to home. It really takes one’s breath away. I know that you are looking to the LORD who promises even in these circumstances that there is a blessing for all who love Jesus. It is amazing that he promises such a thing and then keeps such a promise. I pray that your family will be able to see it.

I don't know what to say! I'm so sorry. There just are no words that can take away the loss and pain and sense of injustice over this. I see from the news story that it's still too early to know for sure who did it.
Please know you and the family are in my thoughts and prayers and I am so sorry for your pain. That picture of Lacey as a young girl -- she reminds me of my own daughter and I wonder how I can keep her safe from controlling and violent men in her future.

I was so saddened to hear about the murder of your niece. It's been 21 months since Cindy was taken from us and it's almost like reliving all of the horror again. I, personally, can say that I know what her family is going through! I just hope they have gotten/get the person that did this. Obviously that won't bring Lacey back but just knowing that the person responsible for this tragedy is off of the streets, and punished, may help.
My sympathy goes out to your and your family. You're doing a great job with domestic violence issues. I have been following all of your accomplishments on Facebook, etc. I wish I could do more, but since my daughter died, I also lost my mother and a month ago my brother. My husband and I have decided we have to "take a back seat" right now and get ourselves together.
We think of you and Regan all the time. Please give our best to her also and know that we are praying for all of your family.
